At Andrea Markovic Personal Fitness, I specialize in helping busy people achieve their fitness goals. I also understand the unique challenges that come with aging—whether it’s the impact of perimenopause and menopause in women, or simply dealing with the everyday aches and pains that come with time. I also get how hard it can be for busy people to prioritize self-care, but I believe it’s essential for your mental health, energy, and overall well-being.

My Fitness Journey


When I was younger, I worked out to look good. I was a cardio queen, running marathons and wondering why I wasn’t losing weight. But through my personal journey, I’ve learned that exercise is about so much more than just looking good. It’s essential for our brain health, body health, and longevity. Life will throw curveballs, but staying active helps us adapt. While aches and pains are part of aging, regular exercise can alleviate many of them and keep us feeling our best.

My love for fitness began as a kid running with my Dad, and it’s grown from there. As a young adult, I ran seven marathons, qualifying for the Boston Marathon three times and completing it once. This passion led me to pursue a career in personal training, where I became certified in 2006.

I started my career in Chicago, working at top clubs like Lincoln Park Athletic Club and Evanston Athletic Club, while also training in-home clients. After moving to Colorado, I continued to train clients at a well-known club and expanded my expertise by becoming a certified fitness instructor. I taught Bodypump, Pilates, kettlebell group classes, and bootcamps.

Through my long career, I’ve gained valuable skills and experiences that I bring into every session. What sets me apart is not only my years of training but also my genuine love for fitness and passion for helping people achieve their goals.

What You Get With Training

Everyone is unique and their fitness plan design should be unique as well.
A comprehensive fitness program with Andrea begins with a complete review of client’s current fitness level, lifestyle, motivational commitment and nutritional habits. A postural assessment is also conducted.

Body circumference measurements, body fat analysis, body mass index and weight are measured to build a base for monitoring improvement. From there, a basic resting metabolic rate can be calculated and nutritional guidance can be given.

Resting heart rate, strength, and flexibility assessments are taken and
fitness goals established.

As a client reaches goals, new goals are set, and program design modified to keep things fun, avoiding body plateau and boredom.

In-Home Visits: I come to you! (Mileage may be added to the cost of the session.)
Personal Training Studio: You can also train in my private, fully equipped home studio.

Over 5-miles of travel is billed at the hourly rate.
